So today, I got some gummint money (that's 'government', for those of you who don't speak Southern Hick). It's a long story, how I came by it, but it involves the IRS, tax liens on every single asset I have (including house, stocks, bank accounts, etc.), a very good tax attorney, and the IRS now finding itself owing ME money (but I didn't charge them interest; I mean, I'm a patriot and shit).

So to celebrate, I splurged on a couple of things, one of which should help my postwork immensely. I bought sushi and I bought Photoshop. Guess which one's for postwork. With Amazon Prime, it'll be here tomorrow. Yay! I used Gimp a couple of times, but now it just crashes repeatedly when I load it and I have no idea why.

Also, in other news, exactly HOW have I gone so long without discovering Gotan Project? I mean, sure I'd heard it before but I didn't know what I was hearing. One of their songs was on "Chuck", one's currently in use in a JetDry commercial of all things. Still, this music must be adored. It's techno-tango. TECHNO-TANGO, people. I've been listening to Gotan Project exclusively for two straight days, and I'm still in love with it. It's the schmexy.
